Privacy Policy

Effective June 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Craps@Home collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this document short and direct. If something is unclear, please email contact.crapsathome@niventure-group.com.

Plain-English Summary Craps@Home is a craps-tracking app, available as a web app and as an Android app. Game data — including player names, photos, leaderboard records, and session history — is stored on your device. By default, voice recognition runs entirely on your device using an offline speech engine (Vosk) — nothing you say is sent to us or to anyone else. Pit Pass subscribers can optionally activate an enhanced voice mode (Deepgram) that streams live audio to a third-party speech service for more accurate recognition; this is off by default and must be manually turned on. Pit Pass subscribers can also optionally enable Cloud Sync, which backs up leaderboard and session log data to our servers. If you tip or join Pit Pass, Stripe handles your payment information — we never see your card details. We do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.

01Who We Are

Craps@Home is operated by Niventure Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Niventure Group LLC.

02What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the Craps@Home application, available as a web app at app.craps-at-home.com and as an Android app distributed through Google Play (together, the "Service"). It does not apply to third-party services that we link to or that handle parts of our voice recognition or payment flow. Those services — including Stripe, Deepgram, Resend, and Cloudflare — have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

03Information You Provide

The Service is designed to function without you creating an account or providing personal information. The information described below is provided only when you choose to enter it.

Player Names & Photos

You may add player names to the roster and optionally attach photos from your device's camera. This information is stored only on your device using your browser's local storage unless you enable Cloud Sync (see Section 06). We do not receive, copy, or store this information on our systems unless Cloud Sync is active.

Voice Tuner Aliases

If you use the Voice Tuner feature to teach the app custom spoken aliases for dice roll values, those aliases are stored only on your device. They are not transmitted to us.

Session & Leaderboard Data

Roll history, shooter statistics, session logs, and leaderboard records generated during play are stored only on your device unless you enable Cloud Sync. See Section 06 for how Cloud Sync handles this data.

Email (Pit Pass only)

If you subscribe to Pit Pass, Stripe collects your email address as part of the checkout process so it can send you receipts and subscription notices. Stripe shares limited subscriber information back to us — including your email address and subscription status — so we can deliver Pit Pass benefits and send occasional product updates. We use Resend, a third-party email delivery service, to actually send these emails on our behalf. You can stop receiving these messages at any time by replying to one or by emailing us.

Support Communications

When you email us at contact.crapsathome@niventure-group.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you.

04Voice Recognition & Microphone Access

Craps@Home is a voice-driven app. Microphone access is used to let you call out dice rolls hands-free during play. How that audio is handled depends on which voice mode is active.

Default Mode: On-Device Recognition (Vosk)

By default, voice recognition runs entirely on your device using Vosk, an open-source, offline speech recognition engine. Your microphone audio is processed locally in your browser or in the Android app and is never transmitted to us or to any third party in this mode. We do not receive, see, or store anything you say while using the default voice mode.

Optional Enhanced Mode: Deepgram (Pit Pass only)

Pit Pass subscribers can manually activate an enhanced voice mode, in Settings, that uses Deepgram, a third-party speech recognition service, instead of on-device recognition. This mode is off by default and only takes effect if you explicitly turn it on.

When Deepgram mode is active, your live microphone audio is streamed over a secure connection to Deepgram for transcription, including, if you have diarization enabled, identification of which speaker said which words. Deepgram returns text transcripts (and, with diarization on, speaker labels) back to the app. We do not separately record or retain the raw audio Deepgram processes; it passes through Deepgram's transcription service and is handled according to Deepgram's own privacy policy, available at deepgram.com/privacy-policy.

You can turn Deepgram mode off at any time in Settings, returning to fully on-device recognition.

Microphone Permission (Android App)

The Android app requests microphone permission so the app's voice features can function. You can grant or deny this permission, and change your decision at any time, in your device's Settings under Apps → Craps@Home → Permissions. If microphone access is denied or revoked, voice recognition will not function, but you can continue to play and track rolls using the Manual Entry input in the app.

05Information Collected Automatically

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare automatically logs basic technical information about web requests, including IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps, for security and reliability purposes. We do not currently use any advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies.

We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (for example, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individuals). If we do, we will update this policy and describe what is collected.

The Service does not use cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to keep game state, leaderboard, avatar preferences, voice tuner settings, and other preferences on your device. Local storage data is not transmitted to us except as described in Section 06 (Cloud Sync).

Static Assets and Announcements from Cloudflare R2

The Service loads static assets (logo, avatar images, dice graphics, music tracks, Rollbreaker content, and similar files) from a Cloudflare R2 storage bucket. It also periodically fetches an announcements file from R2 to display in-app notices. These requests are standard HTTPS fetches; Cloudflare logs them as described above. No personal data about you is sent as part of these requests beyond what is standard in any HTTP request (IP address, browser headers).

06Payments & Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe. When you tip or subscribe to Pit Pass, you are taken to a Stripe-hosted checkout page where you provide your payment information directly to Stripe.

We never receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number. Stripe shares with us limited information necessary to fulfill your order or subscription, such as the transaction amount, last four digits of the card, and (for Pit Pass) your email and subscription status. Stripe also generates a Pit Pass key that we deliver to you by email; this key is used to activate PRO features on your device.

Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy, which you can review at stripe.com/privacy.

07Cloud Sync Data

Cloud Sync is an optional Pit Pass feature that backs up your on-device leaderboard and session log to a server operated by us (a Cloudflare Worker using Cloudflare KV storage) and retrieves merged data back to your device.

What Cloud Sync Transmits

When you initiate a sync — manually via the Settings panel, or automatically on certain app events if you have an active Pit Pass key — the following data is sent to our worker:

Player photos are not transmitted by Cloud Sync. Photos remain on your device only.

How Cloud Sync Data Is Used

Cloud Sync data is used solely to merge and restore your game records across devices. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering the sync feature to you.

Retention of Cloud Sync Data

Cloud Sync data is stored in Cloudflare KV keyed to your Pit Pass token. It is retained for as long as your Pit Pass subscription is active. We may delete cloud sync data after a reasonable period of subscription inactivity. You may request deletion of your cloud sync data by emailing us.

08How We Use Information

We use the limited information we receive to:

09Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

10Data Storage & Retention

Most of your data lives on your device, not on our systems. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by using in-app reset features (for example, the "Color Up" reset or the Settings panel).

For Pit Pass subscribers who have used Cloud Sync, data is stored in Cloudflare KV as described in Section 06. For Pit Pass subscribers generally, Stripe retains payment and subscription records for as long as required by law and for tax or accounting purposes. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry, typically no longer than two years.

11Security

We use HTTPS to protect data in transit. Requests to our Cloudflare Worker (for Cloud Sync) are authenticated by your Pit Pass key. Stripe is responsible for the security of payment data and is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest security standard for payment processors.

No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect a security issue or have a vulnerability to report, please email contact.crapsathome@niventure-group.com.

12Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users thirteen (13) years of age and older. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

The Pit Pass subscription requires users to be eighteen (18) years of age or older in order to enter into a payment agreement. Users between 13 and 17 may use the free version of the Service.

13Your Rights & Choices

You have the following choices regarding your information:

14California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with rights to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, please email contact.crapsathome@niventure-group.com.

15International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

16Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email when reasonably possible. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
